Leather Belts - Hand Plaited
Since pioneering times plaiting with KANGAROO leather has been widely practised in the Australian Outback. No leather can be cut into such fine thongs, yet retain strength like Kangaroo. The Australian bushman has added a unique style to an ancient art. The pelts are available through the government's kangroo conservation program. They are tanned with an extract from the bark of the wattle tree.
All belts are hand the traditional stockman's way since the 1930's.
